What it costs to become President

About $1 BILLION.  That’s more than the GDP of most countries.

What does that say about the barriers to entry to, politically, make a difference in this country?

    What could be more important than campaign finance reform? If we don’t get that (in a serious way so that presidents and congressman aren’t dependent on big-money donors), we ain’t got much.
