Stuff I’ve Eaten

Going through my iPhone I found a bunch of photos of stuff I’ve eaten over the past few months so I figured I’d post them up here.  One of the best parts of traveling is the food – this makes me want more!

Son of a bitch. I didn’t have lunch today; it’s 8:30pm and I haven’t had dinner yet (going to order Korean!), and I’m looking at these great dishes – dying of hunger. Thanks. The thai-looking dishes are the ones that really got me.

You know, I’m thinking of putting something on my blog where people write enter their favorite dish to order at …. Restaurant (including city). I’m a little afraid, because I’m not sure I have enough daily visitors (and visitors who leave comments) to play along and make it work (so I don’t end up looking like a doofus with this empty ‘restaurant suggestion thing’ on my blog). But looking at your photos, I’m building up the nerve to do it.

If you do put up that post, I’ll definitely stop by and add my two cents for a couple cities. I’ll go ahead and tell you my favorite for NYC is going to be that 53rd and 6th Halal Cart. I’ve only been to NYC twice (for a couple weeks at a time) but I love that stuff!

I haven’t tried the Halal cart – I’ll try it. I really like restaurant (and food stand!) recommendations. I think it’s also kind of cool to be in a new city with a restaurant recommendation in hand.

Geez, that’s like asking a parent to pick their favorite child, but right now I’d have to say the Thai food I ate in San Francisco was my favorite. (Bottom row on the left)

Bahaha!! It indeed looks delicious sir!! And Thai food in San Francisco…okay…then I’ve got 2 for ya. Just in case you’ve never been there, The Stinking Rose is my all time FAVORITE restaurant in S.F. (garlic on everything is utopian) And, if your travels ever bring you to Denton, TX, I highly recommend Thai Ocha on W. University Drive for OUTSTANDING deliciousness. Particularly their Thai Pepper Steak – but also everything else on the menu =D
